Career

His career began in the early 1990s, where he developed content and later led Irish E-Learning firm, Interact Services Ireland. He joined Oracle, a former customer in 2005 as Sales Coach. He quickly rose through the ranks and became Coaching Leader and principal instructor for Sales onboarding in Oracle EMEA.

In 2010 Ian was promoted to Oracle HQ in Redwood Shores, CA to replicate his Europe/Middle East/Africa successes. After 7+ years at Oracle, having trained 5000+ staff, he joined database start-up 10Gen (now MongoDB). Throughout his career, Ian has been recognized for his Sales skills expertise and leadership skills. 



Passion

Ian is a passionate advocate for technology innovation and is committed to sharpening the skills of all Sales and Revenue staff in the tech / Saas space. He has trained staff across 30+ countries and has won numerous awards for innovation & performance.

He and his wife Amy operate a non-profit dog rescue & sanctuary from their home in Northern California. Ian also plays several instruments and leads Bay Area band ‘Moss Eleven’
